BE 215: Chemistry for Bioengineers
The course is aimed towards students in the bioengineering discipline to provide them with a refresher on concepts in physical, inorganic and organic chemistry, such that chemical and biochemical tools can be harnessed to solve bioengineering challenges.
BE 224 : Devices and Diagnostics

The course is broadly divided into in vitro and in vivo diagnostics. The aim is to gain a thorough understanding of technologies used behind most in vitro diagnostic tests conducted in pathology laboratories, as well as dive deeper into upcoming technologies that may transform in vitro medical diagnostics in the future. In the second part, principles of radiology based diagnostics and their applications in the clinic will be studied.
BE 219 : Essentials of Research and Innovation
Co-Instructor: Prof. Siddharth Jhunjhunwala
The course will introduce students to the methodologies of research, ethical practices, technical communication of research findings, and intellectual property associated with research.
